Instructions for Setting Up Dial-Up Account in Windows 2000
Click on Start > then Settings > then Control Panel
Double click the Icon for Internet Options
Click on the Connections Tab at the Top, then click on the Add button
For a dial-up connection name type in Richman Poorman and left click next.
For a phone number type in 425-740-3521, you don't need the area code and it should say United States below the phone number, then left click next.
Left click finish
Click on the Richman Poorman connection, and then click on the Settings Button
For Username type in you username, for Password type in your password, and for Domain leave blank. Make sure nothing is checked here and then click OK.
Instructions for Setting Up e-Mail using Outlook Express
Open Outlook Express.
From the Tools menu, choose Accounts
"Click" the Add button and choose Mail.
In the Display name field, type your Full Name.
"Click" the Next button.
In the E-mail address field, type your email address. (i.e.): username@richpoor.net
"Click" the Next button.
"Click" the down arrow on the My incoming mail is a ____ server drop-down list and choose
POP3
In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field, type the POP3 server for your
domain (i.e.): pop.richpoor.net.
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, type the SMTP server for your domain
(i.e.): smtp.richpoor.net.
"Click" the Next button.
In the Account name field, type your e-mail address (i.e.): username@richpoor.net.
In the Password field, type your password.
"Check" the box next to Remember password if you wish to save your password.
"Click" the Next button.
"Click" the Finish button.
"Click" the Close button.
